The Committee for Peace in Afghanistan is a non-profit, social welfare organization registered in the United States .
The committee promotes peace and stability in Afghanistan through providing support for the promotion of public welfare, education, societal cooperation, and “unity in diversity” among the peoples of Afghanistan. The Committee rejects war, socio/political coercion, social injustice, exclusion, prejudice, and discrimination in all their forms and contexts. As part of its peace-making efforts, the Committee for Peace in Afghanistan lays special emphasis on promoting socio-political awareness among the youth of Afghanistan and defense of the rights of the Afghan women.
